Pros

People oriented, room to grow, making a difference to the world. The leadership works very hard to energize the workforce at the team and at the individual level.

Cons

The only con would be working for a large corporation. Even though there are many small projects and teams there is a large company attitude that influences all decisions.

Pros

Great technologies, dedicated employees, customer focused. Sikorsky / Lockheed Martin is a great place to work.

Cons

Most of the business is military focused and the commercial market is still depressed due to low oil prices. We're in a period of flux with management changes and organizational changes following the acquisition.

Pros

Laid back environment. Nice location. Management is easy to talk to. Great Employee Resource Group activities to help the community!

Cons

Absolutely NO career paths whats so ever except possibly for entry level finance. 100% delegation of tasks from management, no meaningful recognition for hard work, credit for work is taken by mgt. Lack of direction, senior leadership does not know what they want or understand what they are asking for. HR is of no help. Integration is slower than a turtle with little to no communication. Everything is changing but no one knows to what. Vacation, sick time, medical benefits, labor grade info etc are all unknowns. Horrible overall communication. Senior leadership does not groom , or mentor, the junior employees as they are too busy. Long hours 60 hours plus with no compensation, too many meetings. Everyone is related and if you come from the outside you will be shut out and work will be difficult for you. You have to job hop within to get more money/promotions. Technology lacks.
