Pros

Competent engineering, competitive salary, good benefits (excellent 401k choices). This is a company that generally keeps employees, potentially for decades, as long as the work is present and/or customers keep funding their jobs.

Cons

No stock options, large amounts of process and documentation (unfortunately a part of the industry eg. aerospace/defense), management can be disconnected from engineering, if work is limited, job security drops dramatically

Pros

Moving away from male dominated old school management. (Though it took a scandal to remove and replace previous CEO.)

Cons

History of "good old boy management" to be changed. (Not unlike U.S. government.) Now moving towards new "good old gal network". Still not a company focused on being truly diverse.

Pros

Good pay. Decent benefits. Opportunities for growth and differentiation as long as you are willing to put in the work and time.

Cons

Change is slow, which is expected for a multinational company. Management is sometimes out of touch.Company wide policies may not be applicable or relevant in certain divisions.
