      Good for people that want to be part of the corporate structure.

      Pros

      Decent benefits. Stability when the economy is good. Some programs have real cutting edge technology. Well known company. Many locations and divisions across the world.

      Cons

      Very large company. Hard to succeed if you don't want to be part of the management track. The defense industry can be unstable depending on the economy.

      A decent company to work for aerospace...not so much for software

      Pros

      Great company for work/life balance. Good amount of vacation, lots of work holidays (including a week shutdown during the holidays) 9/80 schedule allowed days off every other Friday.

      Cons

      Not a "fast-paced" work environment by any means. Behind the curve technology-wise (at least from a software standpoint) Workforce seems to be shrinking.

      Cons

      Too many companies/group within the company and they compete each other for business as well. It's a CMMI 5 company, so more of a waterfall development approach. They use martix system for functional management and you may report to someone whom you never met or going to meet.
