Pros
Work/Life balance is great - I rarely need to work more the 40 - 45 hours per week.
Cons
Yearly reviews are directly related to how much money your project has brought in and will bring in. If you do an awesome job on a project that is cancelled due to no fault of your own you will only get a basic contributor rating, which can be kind of frustrating. Also, your employment is directly tied to a customer contract. If there is no customer contract/project to pay for your continued employment then you will in a very short time find yourself unemployed.
