LogRhythm offers lower than market salary but will try to make up for it with equity. However, that equity is literally worthless by their own admission. If you leave the company they will exercise their right to clawback your equity at $0/share which they claim is the Fair Market Value since they are unable to find a buyer for the company. They're searching for a lifeline in the form of a sale, but as the security product consolidates but can't seem to find one.
Any bonus they offer should also be questioned as bonuses are tied to company financial targets.
The core product is dated, years behind their competition in many areas. While other SIEM providers have offered cloud native products for years, LogRhythm's current cloud offering is really just their legacy on prem product deployed in the cloud. That is all publicly available information, the terms of my NDA probably prohibit me from saying what I think about their next gen product.
High turnover in leadership, engineering, and sales has made matters worse as they've committed many of the classic software engineering mistakes like assuming the mythical man month and second system syndrome.
