Great Culture

Pros

There are so many great things about LCS! Positive culture, bright co-workers, good attitude by most people I know in the company. I feel that most of us want to do what's best for our customers, as urged by upper management. I wanted to work for LCS in large part because of the promise of a positive, customer-focused culture - and I haven't been let down. I have never been asked to cut corners or do something that doesn't best serve our customers. I absolutely love this about LCS. My manager and director are positive, warm, funny, smart, hard-working, flexible, understanding, and great to work for. They encourage collaboration, are serious about our growth and do what they can to support that, they never micro-manage, and they frequently ask for our input in how to make things better for our customers and our team. We work very hard when busy and have slower times when we can take it easier. It's a great balance. There is plenty of opportunity for advancement and creating new positions for the right people because the company is growing rapidly - another reason I wanted to get my foot in the door. It's a fun and exciting place to work in a lot of ways.

Cons

My pay is extremely low, and after speaking with several coworkers, I know I am not alone. According to salary.com and Glassdoor, my pay is well below the 10th percentile for this position in the Cincinnati area. I am still glad to be here for all of the reasons above, and because there are no other notable cons, but making so little is a big problem, and may cause me to leave sooner than I want. A great culture and coworkers are a dream come true, but they can't pay my bills.

Pros

LCS has a great culture, fun activities and engaged employees. We also do hard work daily. Rent Manager is a full accounting and property management software so there is a lot to learn. Training is extensive and combines online and 'in the trenches' activities. You have so many resources at your disposal to learn and build on your previous experience. Opportunities for advancement are ample, hard work is noticed, recognized and rewarded. It's not uncommon to be promoted in 6 months, promoting from within is one of many things LCS does well. The people at LCS are absolutely amazing, it would be almost impossible to find a better group of people to spend your day with.

Cons

Benefits are expensive. There are no sick days, only PTO, so if you are sick you have to use your vacation time. It would be nice to have real sick days, in my previous positions every employee was given 6 a year, regardless of tenure, we were also rewarded if we didn't use them all.

Thanks for your review, we think the people here are absolutely amazing too! Our PTO time was created to combine both vacation and sick time into one bank of time. This empowers you with the flexibility to use this time however you need.

Pros

This position was a great starting position in the company which can eventually lead you to numerous other opportunities. The company is growing at a healthy rate and so many new positions are being created and filled at LCS as they grow. The training program for Product Support is 8 weeks but you will constantly be learning even after your training is over. Management is very helpful and they are invested in the companies success. The CEO is a very respectable man who shows his appreciation and dedication to his employees in numerous ways. You will definitely feel secure with the company and be surrounded by some really good people.

Cons

The position can be very stressful at times. Not because of the customers on the phone, but because of the type of problems you will be dealing with. The software is very large and it is impossible to become an expert. At times I felt unfit to give people the help they need. There is also stress coming from management and the judgement of your performance. It seemed like all that mattered was the number of tickets you closed and if you weren't meeting the quota, you were less valuable.
