Pros

The remote culture is truly great; Loom is poised to be a leader in this space. Strong growth. Users love the product. Kind and talented teammates all over the world. Empathetic and sensible CEO.

Cons

Engineering team seems more chaotic than most, likely due to many different initiatives running at once. Unclear career advancement opportunities for most. Benefits are good but compensation should be improved relative to similar companies.

Pros

*Smart, talented, driven, and thoughtful team *True remote-first culture *Exciting product that customers love, and that's improving the way we all communicate *Continual improvement mindset, not only for the product, but also the company

Cons

Rapid growth is always challenging as teams try to do more with limited resources, build processes, and scale systems. Loom is early in this process and I am sure we will encounter some difficulties, but already leadership is being very deliberate and thoughtful about our growth, which I think will be key to helping us navigate growth successfully.

Pros

Love the product. It's so simple to use and has so many use cases. The founders and the leadership team are thoughtful folks who are keen on doing the right thing. The team is great, good sense of humor, very friendly, diverse backgrounds Best thing that I like is remote first culture and flexibility to work from home. It's definitely helped me keep a good work life balance. There are so many other benefits including remote week every other month, yearly offsite (2020 was in Barbados), gym reimbursement up to a certain $ limit, commuter benefits, health plan. In fact I was surprised that Loom is able to match the big companies in terms of benefits and excel some of the big companies in terms of flexibility and remote culture. I believe, the future is remote and the future is Loom. We are growing at a rapid pace, so come and check us out.

Cons

As with any start up, there is some ambiguity and growing pain. It's not a con exactly but something to know
