Pros

2020 is an amazing time to join the company. Lots of highly impactful features to build instead of just running a handful of optimizations. The core tool itself has the chance to impact a large portion of the workforce - it's exciting to build something that can help workers of all types become more effective communicators. The team is very capable and comes from a variety of well respected backgrounds. Tremendous opportunity ahead if they can execute.

Cons

It's a young company so things can change rapidly. They're competing in an active space, which means pressure to deliver.

Pros

* high level of autonomy over product decisions * ship fast 🚀 * traction * high-caliber co-workers with proven track records * offsites and onsites are insanely fun * culture that's open to feedback and transparent

Cons

* our culture can be overly positive at times and it takes a bit to calibrate into war mode when needed * we are currently figuring out our split of remote-to-onsite and this is going to be a journey where we inevitably make mistakes * our processes are still being ironed out so sometimes there's way too much ambiguity and sometimes there's too much structure. we're calibrating and open to feedback though.

Lots of traction; bad culture; bad people

Pros

The good news is that there is a lot of traction for the product itself. I have no doubt that there is market demand, and that's clear from both an investor and customer growth standpoint.

Cons

Unfortunately, a lot of the pros are outweighed by the culture at the company. You're pushed to work insane hours without gratitude and you need to be similar to the founders otherwise you're outcasted. I'm disappointed with my time here but understand why people stay. There definitely is a lot of potential with the product itself.
