-They claim "paid holidays", but you are paying for the day off with your PTO. This is a flat out lie and misrepresentation.
-New management in the last year has ruined the agency. They don't care about you as a person or employee, don't answer emails, don't make any of the changes they insist they will.
-Documentation and charting is cumbersome as usual and need to have it in within a certain timeframe however nurses are allowed to go days or even a week without finishing their charts which puts other staff in tough predicaments when we can't access the most up to date information and medication changes, which is dangerous for the pt, and management does nothing to correct their behavior. Senior nurses are allowed to do whatever they want with no repercussion.
-Management tries to put their responsibilities on the nurses, for example talking to another nurse about why they're putting patients on daily visits and giving them recommendations, when it is not my job to supervise other RNs.
-Pay is bad compared to other agencies for the same role, though they claim they do a pay analysis with other competing agencies.
-They allow nurses to push their visits to nights and weekends when they don't feel like doing them or go home early. This was never allowed with previous director.
There's so much more , too much to list. If you are going to accept a position here, make sure the pay is worth it to deal with the new incompetent directors. $69k a year or $33/hr for 60 hour workweeks isn't enough when other nurses working 30-40 hours are making closer to $85 a year/40-42 hourly.
