They could do a better job of hiring Senior Software Engineers. It doesn't matter how tech savvy you are, because if you lack the personal and social skills required to mentor and engage with junior and mid level engineers, then you are not ready to be a Senior Software Engineer. During the interview process, more vetting and priority needs to be placed on the soft and social skills of future Senior Software Engineers that they hire. Part of being a Senior is having the skills to mentor and engage others in a kind, patient, and supportive manner. For existing Seniors, more training on mentorship and soft skills should be given.

Management cannot get out of their own way which stagnates the ability to execute.
