Forward-Thinking Company Focused on Culture and Growth
Pros
Work-Life Balance exceeds that of any employer I have previously worked for Pay is Competitive The people are all world-class. Seriously, they all love what they do and are good at it. Feedback channels exist all the way from the front lines to upper-level execs. Upper Management is approachable and engaged. They take time to communicate regularly with the whole company to review results, align goals, and address challenges.
Cons
Because everyone is executing at such a high level, the challenges that do exist are often complex and have a poorly-defined (if at all) path to resolution. If you enjoy solving high-complexity issues, this may be a "Pro". The never-ending pursuit of operational improvement means frequent and sometimes substantial changes to processes, procedures, systems, and even organizational structure. While undoubtedly well-intentioned, this can be frustrating for frontline employees who rely heavily on these resources to be successful, and may sometimes have the opposite of the desired effect because the frequency or scope of the changes create knowledge gaps, confusion, and/or inconsistency between different organizational units, leading to avoidable roadblocks or delays.
