Pros

Work-Life Balance exceeds that of any employer I have previously worked for Pay is Competitive The people are all world-class. Seriously, they all love what they do and are good at it. Feedback channels exist all the way from the front lines to upper-level execs. Upper Management is approachable and engaged. They take time to communicate regularly with the whole company to review results, align goals, and address challenges.

Cons

Because everyone is executing at such a high level, the challenges that do exist are often complex and have a poorly-defined (if at all) path to resolution. If you enjoy solving high-complexity issues, this may be a "Pro". The never-ending pursuit of operational improvement means frequent and sometimes substantial changes to processes, procedures, systems, and even organizational structure. While undoubtedly well-intentioned, this can be frustrating for frontline employees who rely heavily on these resources to be successful, and may sometimes have the opposite of the desired effect because the frequency or scope of the changes create knowledge gaps, confusion, and/or inconsistency between different organizational units, leading to avoidable roadblocks or delays.

Pros

Decent salary. Raises only when you ask for them (doesn't matter if you routinely hit 100%+ of quota. You still have to ask and then wait a while for a ~5% raise, at best) Remote work is allowed.

Cons

There is no discernable culture to the company. Sales organization is woefully aged out of being effective at their roles. The amount of soggy boomers and salty Gen-X'ers here is outrageous. There is no new blood coming in, and everyone I'm referencing is going to be retiring soon or just working until they die. They may have been top of their game in the 90s, but that was quite a while ago. Some of the older boomer men here have, unsurprisingly, no shame in putting heaps of unwanted attention on younger female hires. It's awkward and pathetic. Upper management does not understand how to take risks and has instead a very messy portfolio of competing products with dreadfully repetitive naming schemes. Transition to Customer Success has been painful and lead to lots of churn/braindrain. If you can fake a big smile in front of customers and talk pretty words, you're probably still working here, and probably have been promoted recently too! For a technology company, I haven't ever met so many people technologically out of date and out of their depth. Microsoft Teams is, for many here, just too difficult to use effectively.

Pros

Remote work options available for some positions

Cons

Rather hire offshore than take care of their onshore employees. Used COVID as an excuse to lay off hundreds of people who have put in years for this company.
