Pros
The paycheck didn't bounce, there were free snacks, and if you were a go-getter, you could learn a lot about email marketing.
Cons
The product was substandard at best (with the customer churn rate to prove it), and senior management seemed more interested in finding ways to attract new customers and charge said customers more money for an inferior product than they were in improving the product. There was also an autocratic leadership style, and the smartest people were rarely in charge. After the merger of EmailLabs and ClickTracks, many of the smartest and most talented people from these acquired companies left in disgust.
