Pros

I loved the HR department and how comfortable and supported I felt. The benefits were pretty good as was the pay.

Cons

Management doesn't seem to genuinely care about the well being of the employees. Some of the direct supervisors, assistant directors and directors didn't necessarily care about anything except people being on the phones all the time. Concerns got overlooked and ignored.

Decent pay, flexible hours, good benefits. That's all. But have to keep writing due to 20 word minimum.

Cons

Too many claims and not enough employees. Office politics. High school games.

Pros

Ample parking, good commute, good work life balance and decent pay for rural Worcester county. Some autonomy if in the right group or team. Some teams have a fairly decent initial training program.

Cons

Poor technology, lack of communication, no recognition system and very few advancement opportunities above supervisor level. Some teams have zero training and the organization as a whole is very resistant to change. It seems many teams are too busy or disengaged and the care factor seems low in many areas.

Change and growth are part of the company culture at the organizational as well as individual level, but it sounds like you haven't experienced that first-hand. Please take the opportunity to speak to your manager about any changes you'd like to see in your unit or in your work. Also, be sure to check for other open opportunities within the company.
