Pros

No pros just cons for this company. MCI is a subcontractor for a major retail banking concern. I would NOT recommend this company to a friend or enemy.

Cons

8.45 hour shifts. 45 min lunch on your time and two ten minute breaks. Treated a lot like chattel labor. Of course, at this pay rate, there are no real benefits although they advertise it but it is definitely not worth buying. Holidays, 1/1, Memorial Day, July 4, Thanksgiving, Christmas. All unpaid. You can accrue PTO but time off is very regulated. You ask at least a couple of weeks in advance.

Pros

I've worked for various call centers over 25 years and this is the jankiest call center, ever. The nicest person there was the recruiter. Our first day, they did not make us feel welcomed. We were given a brief tour of the place and jumped right into training. The training was adequate. About 3-4 weeks long before you hit the floor. Management and supervisors sucked. The pay was $12 an hour, and we had no benefits until we were 90 days on the job. I lasted 7 weeks before they put me on PIP. I quit shortly after that because it was not worth the pay. No regrets

Cons

30 minutes lunch. No benefits until after 90 days on the job. Pressure to sell and posting everybody's metrics in the group chat. No encouraging words from the supervisors unless you're hitting your metrics

Pros

It’s a job. Not one that will pay any bills or live on. But it’s a job. Working from home would be the best thing I do believe

Cons

No raises-no appreciation for the good people they have-low low pay-micro management-I had two different team leads. First one was great. Second one-wasn’t worth dealing with for the 15$ hr they were paying me. So I bounced. Glad I did. I didn’t realize the extreme low pay until I seeked out jobs doing the same exact role with different companies.
