Pros

A few good supervisors and good team mates.

Cons

Everything else. Pay is not good. Benefits are extremely expensive, campaigns do not last long. Agents are told last minute when a campaign is ending, and given terrible choices to go to, with terrible hours. No better picks are given to agents with seniority. You are told to take what is offered or resign. Every campaign switch is a nightmare because of all the disorganization, they promote supervisors with no supervisory experience, and when people are promoted, there is no raise to become a supervisor, so people who have the experience wouldn't want to take the role. So many agents have went longer than a month without pay because of the inept payroll department. They absolutely will not give you a payroll or HR contact person to call or email, and say supervisors are to handle that. PTO is not able to be viewed by agents, even though agents accrue PTO. Most of the supervisors don't even know how to find agents PTO, or how to apply it so the agents can use it. Since May I personally went through 3 supervisors, and some went through even more than that. Communication is severely lacking from the top of the company on down. If you can find another employer, run.

Pros

Working for MCI allows me to stay home with my kids. The client I am working for requires me to do chats so no phones! The company offers incentives for referrals and offers many chances to get overtime.

Cons

A major downfall for the company is being threatened with corrective actions for taking my scheduled break. I have been told I need to wait to take my break for hours. If you need time off, you better have a two week notice or a doctors note. No sick days since you work from home. I have had to wait a week past my scheduled pay day because of delays (wasn't notified).
