Pros

I really enjoy working in a team. Management are very understanding if you need time of wok if it is necessary. Fellow colleagues are very friendly, we have a weekly football game on mondays where great fun is to be had. Good atmosphere!

Cons

The management structure is fairly standard old style. My line manager isn't directly involved in the product I develop so doesn't know how well I am doing, or of my big achievements. Salary is not competitive and the only way to get a rise is to get promoted.

MICROS Systems offers health, dental, paid time off, 401k...all the bells and whistles that you would expect from a company of this size. There is unlimited growth potential with this company and the company continues to grow each year.

Cons

Interoffice politics play an important role in any office settings but especially at MICROS Systems. You must be comfortable playing the corporate game at this company. Senior management is excellant and very supportive. Mid-level management at the corporate headquarters can be difficult to work with at times.
