Pros

The building and location is good. bagels on Friday Two holidays for Christmas.

Cons

Lot of micro management open on all weather conditions. higher management lack of technical expertise all of you bosses are ones who worked in restaurant's. Do not follow any standards while implementation no code reviews. be prepared to show doctor's letter if you go on sick for one day. Need to provide what you worked on each hour every day. people get fired just coming late for 5 minutes due to traffic.

Good co-workers. A lot to learn and a good place to start

Old school management. Less than market value salaries and no raise regardless of the hard work. Not a flexible place

Pros

Tons of travel experience, and great relationships with fellow installers. Overall the company seems to be actively seeking growth opportunity, and that adds and element of excitement when looking towards the future.

Cons

In some ways it seems like the employee burnout is an accepted aspect of the company culture. They are constantly hiring new people to fill positions because it appears that employee retention is not a high priority. New hires make more than installers who have been there for a year or 2, despite promise of annual raises, which I have yet to see.
