Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

Low pay Toxic culture that favors tenure over competency Very low quality engineers. Many people who called themselves engineers had not written a line of code in 30 years and had zero experience shipping a product.

Pros

With our new CEO, we are already seeing a positive change in culture and a refocusing on our core mission. Excited about the future! Work-Life balance is real at MITRE Benefits have always been great, especially the 401K plan, and now the PTOB benefit has been improved.

Cons

Senior leadership communications has been a significant issue over the past several years. We are already seeing this change with the new CEO.

Congratulations on more than 20 years at MITRE. We are proud to be a multi-generational organization with employees ranging from just a couple of years on the job to more than 45 years and everything in-between. Communication is a core element of our employee experience, and we are committed to listening to our people and addressing their concerns while balancing our business goals. Our recently extended benefits are one way we are actively responding to the needs of our employees – with expanded, tenure-based time off, the addition of a second paid, flex holiday that employees can use however it best suits their needs (for a total of 9 paid holidays), and greater Caregiver and Parental leave flexibility. As always, we appreciate your feedback.
