Pros

The account teams can be tight, I have made some lifelong friends here but most have either left or are actively looking elsewhere. You do get a paycheck.

Cons

The entire culture anymore is a severe distrust of leadership. No more pay raises. Asking everyone to do the work of multiple people to save on salary. Ever-changing job descriptions and expectations. Cutting perks. Almost no work-life balance as the accepted norm. Account leadership have been here forever and almost dont care anymore. Layoffs and layoff threats. All of this is literally the topic of discussion here daily. We all know more cuts are coming soon based on what we're all seeing and hearing at year end. Most of us are trying to jump off the ship before it sinks. Clients are starting to ask questions, wanting to know why yet another person they know has disappeared from their account. We're instructed to tell them they left for "personal reasons or a better opportunity." But really most of us are no longer volunteering to destroy ourselves for a performance review that says "meets expectations," especially when raises have been eliminated, benefits are being cut and you’re then supposed to do the work of several people. Especially not at a company that has already shown it would eliminate any one of us without a second thought to make Eagle Tree and GLT more money.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We appreciate your candor and are glad to hear that you've built meaningful relationships with colleagues during your time at MMGY Global. It's clear from your comments that you're feeling frustrated and disconnected from leadership, and we take that feedback seriously. We also recognize that employees do not always have visibility into every business decision, strategic discussion, or future plan. As a result, perspectives on these topics can vary based on individual experiences and the information available to them. You also mention concerns about communication and responsiveness to feedback. We recognize that employees may not always agree with decisions that are made, but we believe constructive dialogue is important. We also recognize that not every employee will be aware of every initiative, conversation, or action taking place across the organization. Our leadership teams continue to focus on supporting our people, clients, and long-term business success, even when that work may not always be immediately visible. As for our responses to reviews, you noted that some themes in our responses may sound familiar. That's often because the concerns raised are similar, and there are only so many ways to thoughtfully acknowledge feedback while respecting employee privacy and avoiding discussions of confidential business matters in a public forum. That does not mean the feedback is ignored. We read every review, share themes and insights with leadership, and consider that feedback alongside input gathered through other channels across the organization. This includes our new employee engagement platform, which is intended to help us better understand employee sentiment and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience. Feedback gathered from employees has helped inform a number of changes over time, including updates to our flexibility policies, benefits offerings, and other aspects of the employee experience. While not every suggestion can be implemented, employee feedback has influenced meaningful changes over time, and we remain committed to listening, learning, and evolving as an organization. We encourage employees to share concerns through a variety of channels, including conversations with their manager, HR representative, or COE leader. Open dialogue helps ensure concerns can be discussed with the appropriate context and information, and we welcome the opportunity to better understand different perspectives. Thank you for your contributions to MMGY Global and for taking the time to share your thoughts.

Pros

NONE, do not fall for it!!

Cons

In all my years working across agencies and client's, I have never experienced a workplace culture this toxic. The organization operates through fear, favoritism, and emotionally unsafe leadership practices. Communication was often indirect and divisive, with leadership frequently going around employees instead of addressing issues transparently and professionally. This created a culture of mistrust, anxiety, and constant tension. There was also a noticeable clique mentality that impacted morale across teams and made collaboration difficult. What stood out most was how consistently these concerns were echoed by employees at multiple levels of the organization, as well as by former employees and even clients. A challenging job is one thing. A workplace where people feel disrespected, undermined, and emotionally unsafe is another.
