Pros
Car program, okay pay, not in an office
Cons
Really bad for favouritism, lots of broken promises and lies. Was handed old accounts and expected to grow them. Really boring job, most people had been there 5+ years selling toiletries and nuts and bolts, you were expected to get excited about selling rags and WD-40... The boss has a main group, she goes to parties and comic cons etc... and if you're not a part of it good luck, there has been a rotating door for a new employee. This job is as dead-end as it gets, most people working 5+ years in the same position and there's no promotions. Especially in Canada, the company is tiny- they are more expensive and slower than Gregg's (Canadian owned). Most people at the accounts were miserable old men, I did not look forward going into these dirty places only to get yelled at and haggled over cents... You are in charge of sales and administration, there is SO MUCH administration. Expected to get new accounts, manage current accounts, track orders, change prices, follow up with multiple purchasers, managers, etc... most days started at 7:30AM and I worked until 6:00PM-7:00PM
