      Pros

      They are pretty good with the dog and pony show with big flashy lights. You will be promised the world!

      Cons

      Never believe a single word. This company is undergoing a change so they can compete with the big dogs. But this company will lie and stab till you bleed and you run. HRBPs are a joke. They put inexperienced people in those rolls, strap a title and now they are the people we go to. Get rid of the HRBPs starting from the top. They are causing more harm than good. Many great talents have left due to a corrupt HR dept. Sales is run by HR with pulling the puppet strings of Sales Management. Commission structure is horrible. Goals are unrealistic. Was a top sales guy in previous company. Been at MSC for couple of years spending more time pushing paper than selling.

      Pros

      Some great people work here. Good business. Focus on the customer.

      Cons

      The CEO is in place because he is part of the family that controls the company. He does not have the experience needed to run the company. I have heard that he is easily influenced by others and changes his mind without facts. The company is changing right now, but there is no direction. 1 or 2 of the other senior executives talk alot but do not say anything or get things done.

      Nice building, nice cubicles, nice scenery outside the building.

      Cons

      You are only allowed to post for the internal jobs. The problem with that is over 20 jobs on the public website apposed to 2 on the internal postings. I'm assuming that is how they control who comes into the company and how they will keep them in the same box. I agree with the poster that said be careful of the good reviews, they come from upper management. The last good review was no doubt written by a marketing executive. We have all heard those same phrases repeated in company meetings. Also agree with the person that said people pretend to be happy because they will not speak up in fear of upper management. Employees are forced to gripe among each other just to get through the day. The mission statement is a joke. Upper Management does not care about employees, suppliers, or customers.
