Pros

Knowing you are helping to save or better a participants life is personally very rewarding .

Cons

Very unprofessional environment, when it comes down to it, it's to more of a he say she says situation. They choose to pick who are known as their "favorites" side. HR is very poor never available when needed mainly at main branch in Edison New Jersey. Very hard to move up in company seems the more you work and the more you give them the less you get in return. Very poor supervisors on 2nd shift, half of the time they are not even available or do not show up for work, therefore they are never available when you need them. Upper management has been aware of this situation for over a year and a half now and has yet to do anything about it. Also have known to make inappropriate comments to female techs but of course you can not say anything bc of the fear of losing your job.

Pros

Coworkers who care about each other. Coworkers who believe in the integrity, and quality of their jobs.

Cons

Too many employees from Rutgers University. Mid level managers are disrespectful to any one who is not at their level or beneath them. Department directors need to question the motives of the Supervisors/Managers under them. HR needs to be more apathetic to the little guy. In general this is a place that starts off well, but declines overtime due to the personalities of the people in charge.

Pros

20 days PTO, recognized holidays, healthcare

Cons

Ineffective leadership at multiple levels, Forced to use 10 days of PTO for shutdown every year. Nepotism is apparent throughout. Little to no recognition for employees who go above and beyond. No corrections to employees who slack/dont care, forcing the good employees to pick up the slack and become burned out. Pay is laughable for legacy employees, 15 year veterans making $10K less than new hires are told "theres nothing we can do". General dismissiveness towards techs/any lower level employees. When confronted with low pay talks the CEO went on stage to say "If you're here for the money, find a new job"

We are sorry to hear that MTF has not met your expectations over the past 6+ years of employment. We welcome the opportunity to review with you, the programs we have put into place to reward and recognize our employees, our career ladders and the changes from 10 days to 4 days of PTO during annual shutdown.
