Pros

Benefits are ok, nothing stellar. Flexibility depending on your department. Some really good people Bonuses biannually

Cons

Low pay--not up to industry standards, even though they try to play it off with the non-profit card Expect you to be available 24 hours a day via email HR Dept is a joke Lots of old timers who would not survive at any other company but keep their job because they've worked there since the beginning. Old Boys Club in upper management--token woman executive in a figurehead position No advancement based on merit Lots of filler positions that have no purpose and no responsibility Pretends to be LGBT friendly Upper Management needs to retire No room for growth, extremely slow to promote. Most positions don't have a clear cut career path and there is no real succession planning.

Pros

Good benefits, PTO, good company mission

Cons

QA/Lab Management is inexperienced, play favorites and horrible micro managers. You get treated more like a child than a college educated adult. The pay is very low and there’s no room for advancement. The lab is full of negativity and bullies. Work for the experience and move on. No one can make this a lifetime job to retire from. One horrible manager hired a lot of terrible people that she promoted and are still there after she left.

Pros

Good benefits (401k, PTO days, health insurance) that's about it.

Cons

Extremely low salary compared to industry standard. Hard to move up, have to wait 1 year after each promotion to move up, which is a very weird rule. This isn't a place you work at to "learn" how to do things. Laboratory methods are outdated. Quality engineers don't really have a good grasp on how to handle projects. It's a bit of a mess, and more of a place to gain a few years of experience to put on your resume and get out. Poor departmental communication. Cut overtime opportunities across the board so now salary is extremely low. 10% max raise with promotions. Upper management thinks they are gods and know everything, but most of them have only worked at MTF and no where else. Overall just an embarrassing company where you don't learn much. Also going downhill financially, getting rid of holiday parties, extras, cutting OT and bonuses, frequent layoffs.
