Leadership and HR have made it clear employees do not matter
Pros
Ticket benefit is nice and decent pay.
Cons
I had to get out. This company fundamentally does not care about its people. Senior leadership is completely absent and disconnected. Over years of working here, there was little to no interaction with senior leaders, no transparency, and no sense that employee voices mattered at all. Layoffs are frequent, arbitrary, and deeply destabilizing. Supervisors were laid off with no explanation, only for the same roles to be refilled later. This creates constant fear and reinforces the message that employees are disposable. There is no trust, no stability, and no long term thinking when it comes to people. DEI programs that once thrived, were quietly eliminated, and employee surveys were stopped altogether. Any previous effort to understand or support employees has been abandoned. The company no longer even pretends to care about engagement, belonging, or well being. The current head of HR shows no care for employees. It is hard to believe she has even met a venue employee, let alone understands their experience. HR exists to protect leadership, not support staff. Employees are treated as costs to manage rather than people to support. If you are looking for a workplace that values people, listens to employees, or invests in culture, this is not it. This is an organization that prioritizes optics, control, and short term metrics over the actual humans doing the work. Proceed with extreme caution.
