Pros

Good intentions and corporate values, a lot of high caliber co workers, work from home abilities, generous vacation time, desire to innovate is emphasized

Cons

Constant reorganization, lack of investment in process and project/program management, constant fires and onus put on a few capable people until they burn out and leave

Pros

Benefit package is fair and competitive in today's market. We are given a great deal of autonomy in performing our job. Support from middle management is good.

Cons

Absolutely no progression available. Holidays are NOT paid. PTO is half of what other companies pay. While working a school rotation, all the scheduled days off are unpaid. Administratively, contacting and working with HR in impossible. Sometimes, taking weeks to receive feedback. Payroll consistently makes errors in paying.

Pros

Somewhat flexible schedule, salary instead of hourly, fair amount of PTO/holidays for new employees, ability to do your job without feeling micromanaged, starting salary was fair, ability for some employees to work from home.

Cons

The healthcare benefits are horrible considering this is an insurance company. I am worried I will get sick or injured and need to use them one day. There is so much to learn and not many people to go to if you have questions. If you ask another department for help, you are reprimanded. The rules and guidelines seem to change on a daily basis and are dependent on whom you ask. It is very frustrating and makes the company look incompetent. Employees do not stay long due to the many frustrating aspects of this company.
