Long hours, incompetent management

Pros

None. Nothing they're doing is innovative. It's just another AR platform but they think it's special.

Cons

Its a startup company that never grew out of being a startup so they just rush from money demo to money demo overworking their understaffed teams and yelling at them for their own failures. People quit constantly and are never mentioned again. There isn't enough management and the management that's there are ridiculously underqualified for their jobs so they just yell at people and force them to work endless long days and nights and weekends.

Magic Leap used to be a decent employer to work for, it provides great benifits and valued its employees.

Cons

Now if you ask for my advices, I will tell you to be really careful. Although they claims that you have “unlimited” PTO, if your manger isn’t happy with the way you use it, you risk being fired. Also, they claim that they provide generous parental leave, even for non primary care givers. My advice is don’t be too considerate and inform them in advance like you would normally do in other companies, thinking they can make better work arrangements, because your manager may suddenly become very picky about your work and then you risk getting fired right before you take the leave, if you’re not the key employee in your team.
