Pros

The employees really want to do the best job they can. They, take pride in their work, and genuinely want the company to succeed. The acquisition of Allegiance may be the best thing that's happened to the company in a long time. New, younger, upper management, the removal of a lot of older, existing management that got us into this mess, the promise of improved communication and transparency (so far, so good), and understanding we need a good offense and not just play defense, is the way to move the company forward. With the acquisition of Allegiance, new management, and a new company name, comesinspiration and hope for a bright future.

Cons

The old company (pre-acquisition) had too many cons to list. We were a sinking ship, and was losing staff through a constantly revolving door. Fewer people doing more work is not a recipe for success. Morale had hit rock bottom. The facility is in need of a facelift to fix the leaking roof, replace the stained carpets, and adding some color to the walls to get away from the not-so-sterile white.

Desperately needs a management refresh

Pros

Maritz is a good place to start your career. You get to travel and work with big-name clients.

Cons

In general, the pay is low. This is across the board. HR openly acknowledges they are not a top-paying employer. They try to make up for it by being extremely family-friendly though. The flexibility is nice, but it's hard to get things done when nobody on your team is held accountable by management.

As cheap as possible

Pros

Flexible schedule and 37.5 hour work week if you have a decent manager. That's what the company means to provide to make up for the low pay rate. Full time employees receive the week off between Christmas and New Year's Day with pay in addition to their earned vacation.

Cons

Company culture slides down the toilet in the field and branch offices based on your manager. The feel and reputation outside of Fenton, MO is very different.
