      Life changing experience at the school

      Pros

      I’ve worked at the school for almost five years, and I can honestly say it is the best environment for all students and one I would want my own child in. Staff here truly care about the students and one another. Feedback is valued by the administration, and the support from them is unlike any other place I’ve worked. Everyone here works as a team to make some amazing things happen.

      Cons

      The job can be stressful physically and emotionally, but in the end the growth of the students makes it worth it.

      Pros

      Working as a CNA is great at Marklund. The staff to client ratio is amazing- especially compared to other facilities. The atmosphere is like a community and everyone is always willing to pitch in, even administration. Everyone truly cares about the clients and you can feel the joy when you are on campus. It's refreshing to see that everyone has an open door policy and there to support you. They offer on the job training to become a DSP which is great and something new. They also have really good benefits as well as tuition reimbursement for full time employees.

      They aren't any I can't think of.

      Pros

      As everyone is saying clients are the only pros in there. Clients get treated very well. Place is clean and does not smell bad. Health insurance is good.

      Cons

      Where do I start?! Almost every day someone calls in. It does not matter what deportment Nursing, Housekeeping etc. Pay is very little but, expectations are extremely high. Every deportment or and shift have " clicks". Like in high school. You can't really call off because you will be written up even if you do it once. Or if they send you home if you are sick they will still write you up. I have never even seen a company ran so poorly. They are always short on workers because of their bad and sad reputation.
