Pros

Met some good people Fast paced environment Supervisors were mostly great to be around Good resume’ builder

Cons

Low pay Long hours No work life balance Virtually no holidays Suspect health insurance benefits Poor communication Senior management out of touch As long as the work gets done, management doesn’t care how work is distributed among your coworkers. If you are good at your job, you will be ridden into the ground, while your coworkers goof off and do the bare minimum. Stay away unless you are fresh out of college and need the experience.

Pros

Overall MB is a good company and there are some great people at the Orlando DC. Benefits and salary were competitive for my role.

Cons

This is a 24x7 fast paced environment. There are only 3 holidays observed per year. Expect to work weekends as HR is to be represented 6 days a week. HR at this DC is at a very high magnitude (which was not shared during the interview process) and you are responsible for ALOT ,,, Workers Comp, Health &Wellness, Recruiting, FMLA/LOA, Safety and the normal day to day EE inquiries and assistance, etc, etc .. There is alot of hand holding with employees as most aren't comfortable on the computers so you will be asked for assistance on simple computer tasks. IT is a jnot the best (nternet slow, iT help desk that really don't want to help) which i never understood being that the company makes billions. Turnover is extremely high (mainly in the warehouse) so expect to spend most of your time doing some aspect of recruiting. The HRG will do most of the work in this Dept so so not expect help from your counterpart . Expect some micro managing &; nit picking in this dept. as well. Ultimately, after 1 .5 years , the frustration & stress wasn't worth it anymore. The only reason why i lasted as long as i did was because of some great people there ... Warehouse & Transportation team --if it weren't for them, i wouldn't resigned a LONG time ago. My heart goes out to the next person because you will carry most of the weight in that department and will have to do all of the grunt work.
