Pros

This company really cares about the opinions and the freedom of their employees. The CEO even holds open meetings to discuss company strategic planning. Great staff who are all interested and dedicated to their work. Great pay, health coverage, and the ability to take time off without being pressured.

Cons

Managers need more training on leadership styles.

A good public policy research company

Pros

Training, ability to take ownership of your work, good work-life balance, friendly colleagues. The dress code is also "smart casual" so you can come to work in a suit or just a pair of jeans and a button down shirt.

Cons

The matrix organization takes some time getting used to, but it's not a big downside to working. It naturally comes with working on multiple projects.

Pros

The people that work there are friendly and approachable. Free bagels on Friday which is nice. Unless you work in the NJ office, advancement isn't easy.

Cons

Interviewers are treated horribly. You are made to feel like an expendable number. The other issue is that the protocols are so stringent, that you need supervisor approval for just about every single little thing. That I found created inefficiency.
