Pros

Interesting technology, smart engineers, co-founders are incredibly talented with great vision. Until recently was a great place to work.

Cons

Starting several months ago, the environment changed drastically. People are leaving left and right (myself included). Why? Because new leadership makes people feel worthless and disposable, constantly reminding us that we are more expensive than those overseas. Talented people are being substituted by mediocre, under qualified folks, as long as they are brown-nosing the new leaders.

I'm sorry to hear that you left the company under these circumstances. The fact is that our turnover rates are actually lower than those of many start-up companies in Silicon Valley. We have a real product that we've been able to monetize and the fact that we've been recognized as the 3rd fastest growing private company in Silicon Valley, says it all. There are always ebbs and flows in a growing business; sometimes that means new leadership who have ideas that may be different than those of a previous leader. We ARE working hard to build trust through our internal Culture Team, and transparency in our TGIT and All Hands meetings. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Coworkers are fun. Location is convenient.

Cons

Constant bait-and-switch compensation plan. Chicago office is treated like unwanted step child. Executive team won't let people do what they're good at. The better you are, the more likely you are to get a pay "restructuring." Marketing controls sales but doesn't listen to sales team.
