      The problems we are solving are fun, we have a lot of users, so there is a real effect when you ship new features. Benefits and pay are good!

      Music choices during all hands can be dicey.

      Let go despite meeting expectations

      Pros

      Ok pay and benefits. Quality of people (mostly in terms of character, not talent) is a mixed bag.

      Cons

      Worked for just under 1 year, and was let go due to "not meeting expectations", even though I received a "Meets expectations" rating in my most recent performance review. I understand if I received anything below that, it would serve as a valid warning before letting someone go, but this was definitely not the case. Also, most of the non-engineering personnel are impersonal (and one in particular quite rude), and unprofessional. It's a shame because the product itself is pretty good and I really wanted to stay, but the culture forced me out.

      Pros

      In my 15 years of corporate life, working in a wide range of companies from startup to massive tech companies, this is the single worst company I have ever worked for. Read those reviews. The leadership is the issue. Not the product or use applications. I opted to be unemployed vs be there a minute longer than I needed to be.
