Pros

Great potential across quite a few industries. Unique products and services with innovative technology

Cons

The company is run by accountants who are absolutely clueless as to how to invest in people, processes and technology to better run the company. The entire company is run on Google spreadsheets. There is no people development; in fact they don't even have a learning management system. Frequent yearly layoffs. The way they price products and services to customers is a maze of complicated processes that requires multiple layers of approvals before they let sales close the deals. The sales technology stack uses low grade solutions and makes the account rep's job harder. Salesforce.com is a mess and run by people who have never been in sales roles. Sales leadership has no influence as the company leadership team looks at sales people as a necessary evil and thinks the products are so good they should sell themselves. Terrible channel program run by incompetent people. Like the rest of the company, no career development for sales people. Good sales enablement people but they have almost no resources to do anything but produce slides and videos. This is not a serious company, Marketing is useless.

Pros

Pay is ok, not great. My manager and director are kind people (way better than my last SV job). The job is not too stressful and I enjoy working with my team. My manager often gives appreciation to me and the whole team. Flexible work environment; I can work at home a couple days a week if I want. It's a good place to get more experience without crazy stress.

Cons

Pay is not super great, and people have not gotten stock refreshers in recent memory. Benefits are not that great. There is a 401k, but no matching. Diversity is not that great, not many women in the office.
