Pros
Maven is growing quick, and it shows. A lot of new clients keep us busy and on our toes. No two days are the same, but the days have just enough consistency so you're excited and not burned out or bored. There's space to try out new things if you want , or do what you currently do if you want to stay stable. Company roadmap is strong, and 2020 will be a banner year for Maven. Maven has brought in some new leadership in sales - engineering - people - product over the past year, we're working better every day as a group. the company does weekly town halls where we get transparent info about how we're doing, sales, hiring, and 'wins' where anyone can give public accolades to anyone, which is cool to see especially on less publicly visible projects. Keep it up and maven will continue to be an awesome place to work. Perks are pretty typical for a company of this size in NYC.
Cons
We're growing fast which brings its own challenges. Communication is sometimes a challenge between teams especially on large projects, but that is not just specific to Maven. We're currently split into two floors, which is not fun. We could do more team or cross team events that are not work - related. The org chart has changed a lot but sometimes it is not well communicated to the rest of the team.
