Pros

Maven consistently hires sharp and passionate people who add to the warm and supportive culture. Employees live and breathe the mission of bringing quality healthcare services to women and new parents. Work-life balance is valued and we are encouraged to take time off regularly. I feel heard and supported by leadership and truly believe in the future of Maven!

Cons

No current cons but I do hope that the current culture is maintained as we grow.

I have been with Maven for 1.5 years now and I can barely put into words how amazing my time here has been. I've been afforded the opportunity to push myself and advance my career, knowing I have the full support of the team around me. My coworkers are hardworking, talented, thoughtful, respectful and laser focused on Maven's mission to improve healthcare for women and families. Senior leadership truly practices work-life balance. Everyone at Maven is working hard, but it's encouraged to take time for yourself, get out of the office, network, etc. I'm excited for Maven's future and proud to be working here. Perks: -beautiful, centrally located office in NYC -lunch & happy hour once a week -annual company offsite & additional team offsites

Cons

As we grow, it's been difficult to get to know everyone working on other teams. Management is aware of this and has shared efforts to address this issue.

Free weekly lunches, annual outside trip (a bit boring, but ok), work from home.

Cons

Barely any perks, benefits are crappy, no 401k match, and there is no way you can get salary increase or a bonus. You have to use your own phone and NOT GET REIMBURSED!!! This is ridiculous!!! Some managers are very arrogant and selfish. All recent positive reviews were written by HR and have nothing to do with reality. Senior managers are very toxic and hard to work with. I am hoping that recently hired VP of People will bring some changes.
