      Your office will make or break your stay

      Pros

      - Once you figure out the quirks of the job is really easy to do. - I can get everything from my job done in maybe 4 hours a day. - Goals are attainable and not inflated. - Extremely easy to move up the recruiter pipeline.

      Cons

      - Your office manager and office culture will make or break the job. - Workers can get away with a lot if they are hitting the goals. - Your worker pipeline ultimately depends on how fast backgrounds get back and how quick your field support team acts on them. - If your field support team does not like you or they are not good at their job, you will suffer due to them.

      Young culture, poor infrastructure

      Pros

      People are fun and young/lively. There are opportunities for those interested in Sales roles and quick promotions.

      Cons

      The organization did not have a healthy culture. The recruiters are not provided with an organized training program and there was no formal Human Resources department in the Chicago office to help with any employee relations or benefits issues. The environment lacks structure. The CEO never engages with the company and in the year I was there, I never knew anything about Maxim’s executive team let alone the CEO. People are promoted without any training and many managers are not provided with the resources to learn how to deal with conflict resolution.
