By far the worst company I have ever worked for. Maryland health exchange management has no idea what they are doing.

Pros

Co workers are very friendly. I genuinely enjoy the people I work with. The morale committee is wonderful. They definitely boost morale. Which is good because management could care less.

Cons

Management. They will throw you under the bus the second they are worried about their role and responsibilities. The most unprofessional workplace I have ever experienced.

To Perm or not no Perm

Pros

Been here for a almost a year now. The communication is awesome. The assistance 8 to 4 shift. Only average 20 to 30 calls daily No weekends Excellent place if you want to get into the health care field.

Cons

The calls are nonstop some days can't breathe. When it's a sup call. They try to make sure that you do everything in your power, for them not to take that call for you. The breaks, only one 15, sometimes early am, and a 30 minute lunch an hour later. Staff stay to their own kind. People come and go. Not a set 40 hour week. Overtime is scarce. Pay for living in NYC, should be more.
