      Great place to work considering it's a large corporate environment

      Pros

      Great company mission of trying to make healthcare more effective and efficient; strong leadership team at top management level; very "smart" company in terms of strategy and operations

      Cons

      Somewhat homogenous; top ranks still largely dominated by older white men, but company seems to be committed to improving diversity. As a woman, I was always in the minority in management meetings, but I never felt that my gender was an impediment in my ability to succeed.

      Pros

      This is a fast paced environment where work is never boring. There are plenty of opportunities to grow in your career. The rate at which our business unit is growing allows for quick advancement if you put in the effort.

      Cons

      The balance between work and life is very poor. Working at McKesson will require serious compromises between working and living. Yearly raises are also poor and even promotions don't yield decent salary increases.
