Pros

You can make decent money coming out of college in the call center. Generally, the people are the best part of the company. Was able to move around the company and obtained valuable skills/experience.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what is going on in the company and will often set unrealistic goals. This also applies to some middle management. While individuals seem to care about the work they do, this company will suck the soul out of anyone who wants to help people, being callous to plight of injured workers will help you in the call center. The development side of IT was overworked and overwhelmed with projects the entire time I worked there. Management gave us 6 months to merge an entire company into our existing workflows. After 4 months of planning, we had to rush to get everything done in a very short amount of time.

Pros

They provide free bagels every first Friday of the month, co-workers are nice, free coffee, a small restaurant on the first level of the building, vending machines with nacks on each floor level

Cons

it seems like a good place to work but too much Mirco managing, they hire everyone from a temp agency and you get converted to full time if you are hitting the quotas and do not have points( attendance policy) the quotas are deal-breaker and if you are hitting your third month and have not hit the average quota they have your temp agency call you on a Sunday night and tell you that you been fired. I worked with Medrisk for 3 months and all my coworkers were getting converted to perm but I did not get an update or any notice when they were going to convert me. I got a call from my temp agency Sunday that med risk liked me but I was not what they were looking for. (which I was not expecting because no one from med risk gave me any notice) They hire a set of new people every 2 weeks, train them and after 3 months if they have any attendance issue or they are not making their quotas they are let go. They did not tell me in the interview that not everyone gets converted to perm position and about the quotas. I told them in the interview I was leaving my perm position for this job and I wanted to make sure this would be a perm full-time positions, they told me I had nothing to worry about. But sadly they let me go and I went back to the company I worked with before.
