      Let go on last day of 6 month Probationary period without cause

      Pros

      Nice Working Environment. Very Good benefits. Hour lunches. Good Work/Life Balance. Great people if you can actually get a chance to talk to them.

      Cons

      Very busy call centre. You are expected to complete admin work when it is "less busy" when it should be done during or after the call, especially if like myself, you have ADD, this is next to impossible. Explaining this to management did nothing. They still expected the same from me. All in all, it was an OK place to work and the fact that I was let go on my last day of a six month probationary period, without cause, has negatively impacted my overall opinion of the company. I probably would have rated them a three otherwise.

      Pros

      Benefits are decent, coworkers know their stuff.

      Cons

      They advertise competitive salaries but they are significantly lower than the industry. Always understaffed in this dept, the employees are stretched way too thin. Tools are inefficient. Manager has no background in the field. Their performance management expects that you exceed expectations in order to get a cost of living increase each year on salaries that are already below market.

      Able to advance within your own team or on other teams within the company Good benefits Small teams so you generally get to know the people you work with

      Cons

      A lot of talk about mental health and supporting employees, but very toxic culture within teams Salary is very low. Employees that stay with the company are stuck with low salaries while new employees get hired with higher salaries Very little training/support depending on the team you are on
