Pros

The people that work at Media Temple are a great bunch who are always willing to lend a hand and "get stuck in". Good team spirit and lots of opportunities to interact both in and out of hours. Excellent work environment with flexible hours (if your position affords you that option).

Cons

During my time at Media Temple there were a number of "initiatives" that were launched to improve our systems. Some were internal-only, some were customer-facing. A good many of these never saw the light of day because of poor management foresight/involvement (see advice to management section). As a result, don't get too attached to what you're working on...

Cons

-Unprofessional management with no industry experience. -Employees allowed to act unprofessionally. Profanity, pornography, drinking, and drug use tolerated in the workplace. -Company never had an HR department until 2012. -Company favors young adults and discriminates against people over 40. -Customers not helped, trained to "scope" customers off the phone. -Please wear shoes, the bare feet and the smell detract from a professional workplace. -Work areas infested with fleas due to the dogs allowed in the workplace.
