My decision to join the Medicus team has turned out to be one of the best career moves I have made. I wasn't looking to make a change, as I was very content and happy in the field I was formerly in. I only applied, as a friend of mine (and Medicus employee) was adamant that I needed to work for this company, and was relentless about it until I finally sent her my resume just to quiet her. Then, only days later, I got a call. After the phone interview I was not only impressed, intrigued but also excited. That intrigue and excitement took me by surprise, so I went with my gut and agreed to continue the interview process... and the rest is history. I am incredibly proud to say I work for Medicus. I took a huge risk and a lot of people in my personal life said I was crazy to leave my former industry, having built an incredibly successful reputation. But, I know no risk, no reward. And that's a common theme at Medicus too. It's energizing and refreshing to work amongst leadership that are not afraid to think outside of the box, that know some risk taking has to exist for the continual evolution of the company and as professionals. Working at Medicus has helped me evolve in ways I never would've expected, and it provides me with incredible growth opportunities. I can truly say that I love my job.
