      Growth. Medidata has always and continues to allow employees to grow and try new things while they are here. You're always encouraged to learn more and progress in your career.

      Cons

      From an engineering perspective, at times single engineers may not have the full view of scope of what they are working on.

      Pros

      I have been working at SHYFT for about 6 months now and love it here. The people that work here definitely make it what it is - everyone is smart, genuine, and actually feel passionate about the work we do. The new office in downtown Boston is incredible with great perks (private roof deck opening this month, game room, collaborative space, free snacks, cold brew and beer on tap, tech bar, etc). There is also great flexibility and work/life balance (and unlimited PTO we are actually encouraged to take!) Leaders here understand that everyone has commitments and a life outside of work, and give us the flexibility we need. The acquisition with Medidata has also been very positive. Medidata is a great company with similar values and culture to SHYFT so it is a very harmonious relationship - still working out a few kinks (moving to their systems and processes) but it is a great partnership.

      Cons

      Some disorganization while getting acclimated with Medidata, but communication and guidance has been consistent from leadership.
