Nice coworkers and clients, central location

Cons

A workplace where favouritism plays the most important role. Managers and HR mistreat employees, overwork and underpay. No work life balance. You are expected to work overtime and not get compensated. No support, no ongoing education, no encouragement. It is a revolving door. Employees leaving non stop due to morale and being overworked. Management no experience leading teams.

Professional physicians. Good downtown location.

Cons

Extremely high turnover, therefore constantly understaffed. Management does not know enough about positions within the company which results in employees being overwhelmed with workload and multiple projects being undermined when they can actually become very successful and profitable. Poor decision making when it comes to staffing - it makes you think that some of decisions that management makes could be because they feel threatened by certain people within company who they feel would be more suitable for their own positions. Therefore, people with outstanding work ethics and great ideas are gone.

Great work place, great colleagues, dedicated leaders, great patients. In a changing but very exciting period... Medisys is now owned by Telus Health.

Cons

Being owned by a big company has its cons... But it is still ok compared to Hospitals or Public Sector.
