Well It's a job and it could be worse

Pros

This is a great company to work for straight out of college. It will give you a good easy going work environment to get your feet wet. Certain areas of the company allow you to gain experience that will benefit you in the future, such as an application specialist.

Cons

The largest issue of the company is the lack of ability to keep up with the time. The pay is very poor for the market value of programmer and developer positions. The programming languages and database system are proprietary and very clunky/inefficient. The company is reluctant to change the software at a rate that is fast enough to keep up with the speed of technology.

Pros

Great Benefits - Employees are compensated well. Especially Medical... Pay 90% (premium's not cheap) and it's great coverage as well. Environment - Nicely furnished buildings, office environment is also great. and open. Get some great views depending on building. Management - (Personal) Very open, and accommodating Meditech is a great place to begin a career, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Cons

Pay - Your making far from minimum wage but definitely below average pay for programmers at least... (Can't speak for other professions) Programming Language - Unless your into home grown languages. Cell Service in buildings - You shouldn't be on it anyway!

Pros

- Great salary.. not sure what others were talking about, started at 37500 and was bumped up to 41100 within a year - Great benefits - Insurance, vacation, sick time - Good management - Lenient enough that they don't sweat the small stuff and are willing to work with you

Cons

- Many applications with many people working at each means many people to talk to when resolving a single issue - Not always structured trainings
