Pros

Awesome training. Huge huge opportunity, if you work hard and do your job!! Get hired out by your client! Consultative selling Co-workers Company Culture Intramural Sports Incentives Base + Bonus 401K plan Client facing interaction Ability to move up within the company Base pay is above average for people coming right out of college Company is experiencing rapid growth Great health benefits after 90 days

Cons

People who have left the company on bad terms, and then posted reviews on Glassdoor. Most of the time these people couldn't cut in sales or didn't realize that you actually had to put forth some effort to be successful. Inside Hi-tech Sales is a grind, and you have to put in the work before you can move up. It's the real world now, things won't be given to you anymore. There is a reason why it is called WORK!

Pros

I've made great friends here. What bonds most people at memoryBlue is everyone is equally as miserable and misery loves company.

Cons

Let me first start by saying please do your self a favor and actually read the reviews on here. See that button that allows you to sort the comments and select how you want them sorted? Ok, click that and then scroll down to "Lowest Rating". Take your time to read through them. I promise you that the ones that are thought out most likely came from the heart and are a great reflection of what you can expect here. Do not brush them off as bitter employees. We are actually trying to help you dodge a bullet. I cannot tell you enough how much I would discourage my child from working here if I had one old enough to do so. The place is a frat house. You're working from 8:30AM - 5:00PM with a bunch of frat boys running around screaming over ping pong tables. The amount of alcohol they bring into the office is sickening and I've seen so many colleagues start using (lets say illegal substances) because it's the "cool" thing to do there. They target fresh graduates, so if you're a parent reading this, please do your research on this company. The pay here is awful and not livable. Do not let the Recruiters or Hiring Managers sell you on bonuses and higher pay. They will dangle it over you and make you work your butt off for something that probably won't ever come. You have no control over the client you're assigned and guess what, they'll fire you because you got assigned an impossible client and assume it's your fault that you can't get meetings booked. Speaking of firing, I have NEVER seen a company fire people at the rate memoryBlue does. It's honestly scary and sad. Managers screwed up and put you on the wrong campaign? Fired! Brand new SDR got nervous to do a role play during training? Fired! Not hitting your metrics one month into the job that you're still in training for? Fired! Just announced to people on your team that you're pregnant? Fired! The list goes on. I've come into the office and seen some of the best people's stuff being packed up in boxes because they were terminated out of nowhere. Rockstar SDR's gone because of a crappy month working with an impossible client, some of the best Recruiters who put their heart into the job and showed the best care for their candidates gone for who knows what reason. Nobody is safe here. Thank you for reading my novel and please do your research on the company. There are other options out there who will pay you more and actually appreciate you.

Pros

nothing, being unemployed with no income gave me a more enjoyable life than working here

Cons

this could be long… but like many others have said, this is like working at a frat house where everyone vapes and drinks in office and chances are on Fridays especially that most of the office is drunk or is multiple drinks in, then driving home after work… and it’s encouraged to drink during work. Doesn’t sit right with me to let employees drive home after drinking for at least half the day, but I’d say it matches their standards though I’ve seen them make a new DM write fake reviews on glassdoor because the bad reviews are all true and they know it! They’re trying to lie to you about what you’re getting, Honestly working here will probably hurt your resume more than help it if any competent tech companies know any better. The blind leading the blind with young upper management and the facade that you’re working somewhere “professional” when really you’re learning from idiots with inflated egos. They probably care about their glassdoor reviews more than the lives of their employees. Seems like they’ll hire just about anyone and getting fired from this company is also pretty normalized. Coming to work and hearing your coworker was fired was just another gossiping point for the organization and nothing more. Also seems like everyone has been brainwashed into thinking you need to absolutely hate your life and struggle (because they pay almost nothing) to be able to make it in this industry. Seriously don’t take this pay and go to another tech company that will actually pay you something you can survive off of. Honestly, it’s embarrassing to work here. Heard my previous DM talking about how one girl was basically their token person for diversity, when it’s mostly white men. There will probably be a 5 star review to pop up after I post this, just saying. Clients will almost never hire you out and doing well for their company doesn’t mean they will keep working with memoryblue, so if a client drops and you did really well for them, oh well, you get to start over anyways with a different campaign with no chance of growth for good performance.
