Not what it used to be

Pros

Accommodating schedule. Still one of the higher dollar per hour jobs available in sales. There is always a store close by.

Cons

This company continues to try to do more with less. Consultants who make $5 an hour when they are not selling continually have to help with more tuxedo rentals and stock as Associate hours are cut.

Pros

-Flexible Hours -Great experience operationally -Area for rapid growth if you are successful at your job - Very understanding and accessible upper-management (at least in my market) - Friendly work environment (for the most part) -Constantly keeps you challenged

Cons

When I started with this company, my "cons" list was much shorter. Like many have said, without George there are many things that are beginning to go south... - More corporate atmosphere vs. employee minded. When George was in control, we were sent "care packages" and "boxes of fun" during busy seasons to keep morale up. Also, all the contests have come to an end. - The company is starting to hire more aggressive "car salesman" type managers that have no idea what leadership is really about. - Low pay for support staff, or really anybody on the tuxedo rental side, which is seriously not appropriate for the amount of work expected -Very long days without breaks during prom season -Weekends are necessary

Pros

Discount PMDA Flexible schedule

Cons

Management has little to no education. Lawsuits waiting to happen. The level of unprofessionalism in this company is unbelievable. Wages are a joke! Managers believe they shouldn't do anything around the store. They go home at 2-3 pm or earlier, but stay clocked in and later call for someone else to clock them out at 5-6! And good luck trying to call out sick. If it means manager will have to work extra hours, they'll pretty much force you to come in!
