oh man where do I start
Pay - Abysmal for the market what are we in 2016? 50k a year for a Help desk engineer is truly insane, not to mention this is an hourly structure so while they advertise on the applications that its a salary don't believe it. If you call out sick you aren't getting paid for those days which is not how a salary role works.
Benefits - Basically non existent and with the pay so abismal it feels like its sacrificing what little check I have to pay for these dog water benefits.
Environment - Like I said before the people I worked with were great, the environment was not. You were always in fear of getting let go whenever they needed to make room for attorneys. I offered to finish out my last day to fix an issue that arose when I quit however they pulled me 10 minutes later to let me go. The late policy was another issue. If you are 1 minute late they will count it against you and then after 3 strikes you are going to get written up then fired.
Look I am sure what they do is great for immigrants however as an IT engineer I felt afraid for my job, lacking in the tools that were given to me, and worst of all zero technology authority ( I had to ask HR for permission to move a monitor that was not working and replace it with one that was???).
