Nice colleagues, family feel within some departments and locations; decent promotional and growth opportunities

Cons

During the recession, rather than reduce or cap their own huge bonuses and salaries, or use substantial corporate cash reserves to tide company over, senior executives chose instead to conduct at least two rounds of mass layoffs, which had little positive bottom-line impact, but a lasting negative impact on morale, loyalty, and productivity -- which furthered the company's downward spiral.
