Fun environment, work hard, play hard

Pros

They have created an environment that wants people to imagine and think. They make the company like a second home for the programmers. They provide free drinks, salad bar, weight room, gourmet coffee machine, cafeteria, candy bins, even a game room. They are known to have a nerf gun fight in the middle of the day. They provide kayaks and bikes for employees to use outdoors.

Cons

They are going through some growing pains and are very busy, so resources are limited and can have a lot of work to do.

Great Company!

Pros

I have been working at MeridianLink for almost 3 years and I am happy to come to work every single day. The company has been making great changes in the past year and it's only getting better. We have great benefits and work perks such as monthly lunches, random waffle Fridays, free salad bar, candy bar, and soda fountain, on-site gym, lounge areas, and video game consoles to name a few. The benefits package is also great and the company recently started matching 401K, which shows they really listen to the needs of the employees. Management and executives are always available to chat, whether you'd like to talk about project ideas, concerns, or would like to request their services for an upcoming nerf war. Overall, it is a great place where you can grow professionally while also having fun

Cons

It would be great if there was more interaction and communication with the other office location and departments

Thanks for sharing your great experience at MeridianLink! We realize that some employees have more chance to interact with folks at other office locations than others. MeridianLink does have a summer picnic and a holiday party at which employees from all offices are welcome and can mix and mingle.

Great Company to Broaden Career Horizons

Pros

It is a wonderful experience to be a part of MeridianLink's continuous growth and initiatives that have surged through the company these past few years. In addition to standard company perks (health insurance, vacation, sick-leave, 401K plans etc...), MeridianLink also provides: - On-site gym - On-site daycare - Employee Development Programs * Business Book Club * Toastmasters * Monthly training classes for managers and employees - Company snacks and drinks - Monthly company lunches - Company sponsored events (picnics, dinners, movie nights, bowling, dodgeball) One of the more secret-not-so-obvious perks at MeridianLink is the openness of management and leadership to share career advice and direction. This not only opens doors to other areas in the company but it also provides excellent business exposure. The company atmosphere is inviting, relaxed, and exciting; it is common to find MLers with working with headphones on at their workstations, sipping a cup of tea or reading a book in one of the many areas to relax, working on standing desks, or even prepping for the next spontaneous Nerf War. Yes, for new employees reading this post...you'll need a Nerf gun.

Cons

Work/Life balance is steady but there are good days and bad days. There seems to be more of hot-fixing problems than preventative solutions - a lot of hot-fixing can lead to additional stress and loss of Work/Life balance. Communication across departments can be improved.

Great review, thanks! We know it takes a few minutes to let us know your thoughts on glassdoor, and we appreciate that you took the time to let us know the good and the "needs improvement" areas. We intend for the former to grow, and the latter to shrink. Thanks for being a part of the ML family!
